Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Towing/Wrecker Operator to join our team. This role involves operating tow trucks and related equipment to assist stranded or disabled various police agencies throughout the area, ensuring safe and efficient recovery services. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to customer service. Prior experience with towing and recovery experience, automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair background , and conflict management is highly valued. Duties

Operate light tow trucks, including flatbeds and other specialized heavy wrecker equipment, to recover vehicles.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR LIGHT DUTY AND HEAVY DUTY operators

Load and unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment/wreckers. Perform basic automotive and heavy truck towing Conduct routine inspections on tow trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal operation. Assist with automotive repairs when necessary, utilizing mechanic experience is a plus but not a requirement. Use forklifts or other machinery as needed for loading or unloading vehicles when needed. Maintain accurate logs of recoveries, vehicle conditions, and operational activities in compliance with company policies.

Experience

Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or similar commercial driving vehicles. positions are available for light duty non CDL and heavy duty CDL Mechanical knowledge related to automotive diagnostics, repairs, manual transmissions, and general vehicle maintenance is a plus but not a requirement . Familiarity with conflict management techniques to handle difficult customer interactions professionally. Prior experience operating forklifts or other heavy machinery is a plus. NON CDL positions are available for light duty Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) CLASS A with clean driving record for the Heavy Duty towing we are offering Hands-on experience with load & unload procedures and vehicle recovery operations is highly desirable. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence in the towing industry. TRAINING PROGRAM FOR LIGHT AND HEAVY DUTY IS OFFERED FOR A CANDIDATE W DRIVING EXPERIENCE
Pay: $19.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 65 per week
