Tower Technician - Nebraska

Qualifications

Detail oriented, a good attitude and works well with others.

Candidates must also have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

All candidates are subject to pre-employment background checks

All candidates must pass random drug and alcohol screenings.

Candidates must meet the physical requirements and be able to climb heights greater than 300 feet

Accepted Candidates must sign a contract that includes NDA and non-compete clause.

Accepted Candidates must obtain (if not yet acquired) various certifications such as OSHA (30 Hours), RF Awareness, First Aid, CPR & AED, Capstan Hoist Principles and others.

Benefits

Salary based on experience and qualifications and paid bi-weekly.

Overtime hours at a time-and-a-half pay rate

Paid Time off after 1 year

Responsibilities

Microwave experience a plus.

Coursework covers safety, basic rigging and fall protection, principles of electricity, fiber optics, wireless technology, cell components and antenna basics

Tower Techs must be able to adhere to rigid safety standards while ensuring quality work in a fast-paced environment

Once training is completed, jobs will include various aspects of tower construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting

You may be climbing in excess of 300 ft. in all weather conditions, with the exception of hazardous situations

Tower Techs travel and work from Monday through Friday, some weekend work might be required in addition to or in place of weekday work.

Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing a DOT Physical, drug screen, background check and driver's license check, and candidates must maintain passing results throughout the term of employment.
