This is for daytime and on-call nights. We have a response time we have to meet at night safely.
Duties
Respond promptly to calls for roadside assistance and towing services during assigned on-call shifts.
Safely operate a tow truck to recover and transport vehicles to designated locations.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists and ensuring their safety.
Apply conflict resolution skills to handle challenging or upset customers in a professional manner.
Accurately document services performed, including completing all required paperwork and reports.
Maintain tow truck cleanliness, ensure proper equipment functionality, and follow company safety protocols.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (
required
).
Prior tow truck operating experience and knowledge of proper towing techniques (
preferred
).
Possession of applicable tow permits (
preferred
).
Forklift operating experience (
a plus
).
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
Ability to work independently and remain reliable during on-call shifts.
CHP, Citrus Heights Police, Rancho Cordova Police, Sheriff, Sacramento Police previous towing background a plus.
Schedule
Every other night
and
every other weekend
on-call rotation.
May include holidays if they fall within assigned on-call schedule.
Overtime opportunities may be available.
Job Type
Part-Time or Full-Time (depending on availability and schedule needs).
Expected hours:
Approximately 40 per week (full-time equivalent when on-call schedule is active).
Pay & Benefits
Starting Pay:
From $21.00-25.00/hour.
Bonus opportunities based on performance and call volume.
