We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and excellent customer service skills. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing assistance to drivers in need. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and professionalism while interacting with customers during stressful situations.

Duties

Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and manual transmission vehicles, to safely transport disabled or damaged vehicles. Class A CDL a PLUS and will determine wage. Experience towing tractor trailers a plus. Willing to learn and move up to obtain CDL if one is not currently available. Mechanical knowledge a plus. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting stranded motorists and addressing their needs promptly. Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations. Conduct routine inspections of towing equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition. Maintain accurate records of services provided and vehicle conditions.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license and appropriate endorsements. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair preferred. Familiarity with load unloading procedures and safety protocols in towing operations. Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging customer interactions effectively.
