About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced
Sales Manager
to develop and manage B2B relationships within the travel trade network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, strengthening partnerships with existing travel agents, and increasing brand visibility in the assigned region.
This position requires frequent travel within the assigned state to meet and engage with local travel agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new B2B business opportunities within the travel and tourism industry.
Promote and position company products and services to travel agencies.
Conduct client visits, presentations, and training sessions to support existing partners.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while prospecting new accounts.
Follow up on leads, quotations, and ongoing opportunities.
Coordinate with the operations team for pre-sales and post-sales support.
Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Prepare weekly sales reports and forecasts for management.
Represent the company at local travel trade events and networking opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the travel industry (B2B / outbound).
Experience in
business development and account management
within the travel sector.
Good communication and presentation skills in English (local language is a plus).
Strong knowledge of travel agents, hotels, and destinations within assigned regions.
Valid
U.S. Driver's License
and ability to travel up to
80% of the time
.
Preferred Qualifications:
IATA-certified or prior experience with outbound travel agencies.
Prior experience in corporate travel, tour operations, or hospitality sales.
Proficiency in MS Office, email communication, and CRM tools.

Hybrid (one day per week office visit)

Remote (with regional client travel)
