Job Description

At Imperial, we sell, distribute, and service General Merchandise, Seasonal Products, and Health/Beauty/Wellness Products to our customers. As a Tote Inductor, you will be responsible for preparing trays and boxes, labeling, moving pallets, and handling totes on rollers. You will maintain cleanliness by cleaning and drying trays and keeping the induction and surge areas tidy. Also, assist with trash removal and perform other related tasks as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Check surge for trays Make trays Make boxes Move pallets of totes or boxes Remove old labels Add new labels Put the totes on the extended rollers and push one tote at a time Keep wet trays on designated area upside down Clean & dry wet trays Clean Crumb trays Keep the Induction area clean Empty trash in surge Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job.


High School Diploma or GED. Basic computer skills - requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions. Some warehouse experience preferred but not required Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and difference between words and between series of numbers. Ability to speak and understand in simple English. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10's and 100's.
