Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or takeout orders. Accurately take guest orders using various POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled. Provide detailed menu descriptions, answer questions about ingredients or dietary options, and recommend popular dishes to enhance the guest experience. Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction, and fostering positive interactions throughout the dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, tables, and dining areas to uphold health and safety standards. Handle phone inquiries professionally with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with reservations or takeout orders as needed.

Experience

Prior experience as a host/host or server in a restaurant environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, team members, and management. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately. Experience in food service or hospitality roles that demonstrate your ability to deliver exceptional guest service. Knowledge of restaurant operations, including guest relations, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices. Hotel experience or background in guest services is a plus but not mandatory. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced setting.
