Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. You will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curricula and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate behavior management techniques. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations in the classroom.

Requirements

Some knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create engaging activities that cater to diverse learning styles and needs. Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial. Hours are 8:00-5:30 with 1hr 1/2 lunch.
Please keep in mind that teaching requires lots of activity, squatting, dancing, kneeling, sitting, reading, and lifting kids throughout the day. Join us in making a difference in the lives of young learners!
