Summary

Hiring a full time position working in our infant-toddler classroom (40 hrs per week) teaching position.

Minimum 1yr. or more experience working with infant/toddler-aged children (High School diploma or equivalent)

-(an EXTRA, but not required for the job) : TECTA Training or in process of CDA - or CDA -or -Associates in Early Childhood

Leadership Qualities with good organization & a positive personality Team oriented, good communication skills, and positive. A Versatile individual that understands and applies teaching styles that embrace DAP (developmentally appropriate practice)

- Pay (depending on experience / education as listed above) ranges include 8.25- 13.00 / hr

Benefits: 4 day work week, weekends off Supplemental health insurance plans Discounted rates for Childcare & Preschool Paid training (yearly) 18 hours. Qualifying teachers may also apply for TN Wages program in Childcare for additional compensation. (TN Licensed childcare programs) paid holidays after 90 days After 1 year employment, receive 40 hours of vacation time yearly

Other Responsibilities and Duties include:

Caring for a classroom of children either with a co-teacher or without (solo- lead teacher).

Providing the curriculum offered to the children in your classroom

Adhere to schedule and rules set forth by state of TN and DHS regarding childcare and regulated programs

Communication will be of most importance among families, children, and other staff and administration.

Keeping accurate training yearly and completed new requirements as needed by St. of TN

Cleanliness, organization, positive attitude and disposition are musts.
