Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of preschool-aged children while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction among children. Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, providing feedback to parents as needed. Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other staff to support each child's individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning. Provide first aid as necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered. Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices, including behavior management techniques. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment. First aid certification is desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young minds through engaging activities and experiences. Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
