Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Toddler Music Teacher to inspire young children through the joy of music and movement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and curriculum development, with a love for working with preschool-aged children. This role involves creating a nurturing environment where toddlers can explore musical concepts, develop their social skills, and foster their overall growth through interactive lessons and activities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate music curricula tailored for toddlers, incorporating elements of dance, theater, and singing. Lead engaging music classes that promote early childhood development, including rhythm, melody, and movement. Manage classroom behavior to ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Plan and execute lesson plans that incorporate various artistic disciplines such as ballet, theater, and dancing to enhance creativity. Incorporate activities like photography and sewing into lessons to broaden children's artistic exposure when appropriate. Foster social skills and emotional development through group activities and interactive play. Maintain classroom organization and ensure all materials are prepared for each session. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Requirements

Experience working with children in early childhood education or preschool settings. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies. Skills in teaching various artistic disciplines such as ballet, theater, dancing, or music. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate arts, crafts (including sewing), cooking activities, and other creative outlets. Experience with special education or behavior management is a plus. Excellent communication skills suitable for working with young children and their families. Passion for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and growth in toddlers.
