Summary

We are seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team at Lakeshore Little People's Place in the Hamilton area. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the early learning experiences of our students, contributing to their development and well-being.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to preschool-aged children. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration. Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods as needed. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development. Maintain a safe and clean classroom space that promotes health and well-being. Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities as required. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Uphold the values and mission of Lakeshore Little People's Place.

Qualifications

CDA in Infant/Toddler Development is the minimum certification Proven experience working with Infant/Toddler children in a licensed childcare setting. Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. First aid certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
