This position offers the opportunity to provide patient care using a breakthrough depression treatment. The TMS Technician's primary responsibility is to administer in-office therapeutic treatments under the direction of a treating physician. They also manage specific clinical services, interact regularly with patients, and complete additional office administrative tasks daily.
Responsibilities and Duties
Explain and administer TMS Therapy to patients
Monitor a patient for medical symptoms
Provide medical intervention in an emergency situation
Contribute to a positive work environment
Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with unforeseen circumstances
Act courteously and with tact when dealing with patients, visitors, and the public
Maintain patient confidentiality, HIPAA compliance
Follow established treatment and office procedures
Maintain a high degree of accuracy in all reporting
Physically able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend
Visual and auditory dexterity
Able to work in a team environment
Able to travel to cover treatments in other area clinics
Qualifications and Skills
Two-year degree or greater in behavioral or biological sciences is strongly recommended
Health Care Clinical Professional, preferably with Behavioral Health Experience
Two or more years of related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office with
Experience with data management software
Experience addressing a patient's medical conditions or symptoms, including basic life support certification
Experience operating a medical/mechanical device
First Aid/CPR certified
Strong communication and organizational skills
