AtoZ Title and Settlement is expanding and seeking an experienced
Branch Manager
to lead operations, business development, and overall branch performance for our Rockville, Maryland office.
This is an exceptional growth opportunity for a Senior Processor with 10+ years of settlement experience who is ready to take the next step into leadership or for a strong title operations leader who brings both technical and business-building skills. Candidates with an existing client base or agent relationships will have a strong advantage.
Key ResponsibilitiesBranch Operations Leadership
Oversee all daily operations of the branch, ensuring files are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Supervise, train, mentor, and support processors, post-closers, and administrative staff.
Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the closing process for buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders.
Review complex title issues, resolve title defects, handle escalated file matters, and guide staff in problem-solving.
Monitor branch performance metrics including file volume, turn-time, service quality, and compliance.
Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on process improvements, technology adoption, and workflow optimization.
Business Development & Client Relationship Management
Build, maintain, and grow relationships with real estate agents, lenders, builders, attorneys, and other referral partners.
Attend networking events, seminars, and industry functions to promote AtoZ Title.
Support and mentor branch staff on client engagement, communication, and service delivery.
Bring existing client relationships (a strong plus) and transition them to AtoZ Title.
Drive revenue through proactive marketing and community presence.
For new business you personally originate, you will receive heavy compensation, aligned with AtoZ's performance-based model.
Performance & Compliance Management
Ensure branch compliance with all title, escrow, and record-keeping standards.
Maintain accurate reporting related to revenue, expenses, and branch performance.
Implement and enforce company policies, licensing requirements, and quality standards.
Oversee marketing-related expenses tied to business development, ensuring proper documentation and allocation similar to the structure in existing operations roles.
Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary:
$90,000 - $130,000 (based on experience & market)
Performance Compensation:
Branch Managers will receive substantial bonuses for business generated through their efforts.
Strong performers typically exceed $150,000+ in Year 1, with 10%+ annual growth potential based on production and branch success.

QualificationsRequired
10+ years of experience as a Title Processor, Senior Processor, or Operations Manager in the settlement industry.
Maryland Title Producer License (multi-state licenses are a plus).
Deep understanding of title work, settlement statements, title clearing, and escrow procedures.
Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop a team.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to build and maintain referral relationships (BD experience is a strong plus).
Preferred
Existing client base or referral relationships.
Multi-state title experience (MD, VA, DC, FL preferred).
Experience overseeing branch operations in a title company.
Experience with Qualia and managing CRM.
