Tire Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive maintenance. This role involves providing excellent customer service while performing tire-related services, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers. The Tire Technician will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality in vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs with precision and care. Conduct thorough inspections of tires to assess wear and damage. Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding tire maintenance. Assist in automotive diagnostics to identify issues related to tires and vehicle performance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Engage in sales activities by recommending appropriate tire products based on customer needs. Perform oil changes and other basic vehicle maintenance tasks as required. Lift heavy tires and equipment as necessary, adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or maintenance preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics is a plus. Experience using power tools safely in a workshop environment. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. A valid driver's license is preferred; additional certifications related to automotive service are advantageous but not required. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
