Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tire Technician to join our team. The Tire Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires and wheels, ensuring top-notch service for our customers. This role requires technical expertise, excellent customer service, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

Mount, balance, and install tires and wheels on a variety of vehicles. Perform tire repairs, rotations, and alignments to manufacturer specifications. Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, or defects and recommend appropriate solutions. Operate and maintain tire-changing equipment, wheel balancers, and other shop tools. Provide exceptional customer service, including explaining services and answering customer questions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards. Assist with inventory management, including stocking and organizing tires and wheels. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a tire technician or in a similar automotive role preferred. Knowledge of tire and wheel specifications, balancing, and alignment procedures. Ability to operate tire-changing machines, wheel balancers, and other shop equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift and maneuver heavy tires and wheels (up to 50 lbs). Valid driver's license and clean driving record. ASE certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment. Ability to work in various weather conditions (indoor and outdoor).
