We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Laborer to join our construction team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience across multiple trades and construction disciplines. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, dependable, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior construction site experience and familiarity with hand tools and power tools are highly valued. This position provides an excellent platform for career growth within the construction industry.

Duties

Assist with general construction activities including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as required for various tasks Support carpentry, framing, roofing, drywall installation, and finishing work Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry tasks Assist with plumbing, electrical work, fixture installation, and schematic reading under supervision Handle demolition, restoration, and remodeling projects as needed Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times Read blueprints and schematics to assist skilled tradespeople in project execution Support installation of doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, tile laying, stucco, plastering, caulking, and glass or fixture installation

Qualifications

Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately Knowledge of various construction techniques including framing, roofing, masonry, welding, and concrete finishing Experience operating heavy equipment is advantageous but not mandatory Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual labor for extended periods Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely Valid driver's license is preferred for site access and material transportation A proactive attitude towards safety practices on-site is essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
