Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and restoration, with experience in flooring installation, tile laying, and various maintenance person tasks. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The Installer will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards on construction sites.

Duties

Perform flooring installation, including tile laying and carpet fitting. Execute cabinet installation and trim carpentry tasks. Conduct water damage restoration projects with precision. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate installations. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Engage in remodeling projects, including construction painting and concrete finishing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

Proven experience in the construction industry, particularly in flooring installation and restoration. Familiarity with construction site practices and safety protocols. Strong skills in blueprint reading, caulking, and fixture installation. Experience with buffing floor surfaces and performing floor care tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Previous maintenance person experience is a plus; knowledge of carpentry is beneficial. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials when necessary.
