This is 1st shift position working Monday to Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm. The hourly rate of pay is $20.48.

The Tile Carrier operates and ensures a mounting line is supplied with tile.

Major Functions and Scope:

Feeds finished tile onto conveyers to fill mounting boards. Keeps tile mounters stocked with pattern or replacement tile. Empties scrap boxes as necessary. Removes empty skids and boxes from line. De-sands tile as needed. Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor. Follows standard operating and safety procedures and wears required personal protective equipment. Keeps area safe, clean and organized. Performs other related duties as required.

Education & Knowledge:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

0 -1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.

Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English. Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner. Ability to differentiate between colors
