Position Overview

We are seeking a Tier 3 Server Technician with strong troubleshooting experience in complex environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys architecting, optimizing, and resolving technical challenges in production networks. Candidates must be comfortable working within ConnectWise and MSP workflows.

Responsibilities

Advanced troubleshooting of Windows and Linux servers in production environments Diagnose and resolve networking, virtualization, and infrastructure escalations Monitor, maintain, and optimize critical client environments Implement server upgrades, patching, migrations, and recovery processes Provide escalations support to Tier 1/Tier 2 technicians Work within ConnectWise for ticketing, escalation routing, and documentation Participate in root cause analysis and infrastructure hardening Assist in maintaining compliance and security standards across environments

Required Experience

3+ years hands-on experience in server administration or Tier 3 MSP support Strong proficiency with Windows Server (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP) Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V Familiarity with firewalls, VLANs, routing, and switching Skilled at troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues Experience using

ConnectWise Manage

and/or

Automate

in a production MSP environment Ability to document processes and solutions clearly and efficiently

Preferred Experience

Azure or Microsoft 365 environments (migrations, administration, security) Backup & disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Datto, etc.) Experience hardening systems and applying security best practices Exposure to SOC or cybersecurity methodologies
