Job Summary:
As a Ticket Checker, you will play an essential role in creating an experience of a lifetime for our guests. Our team works primarily in the lift mazes by greeting guests by name and validating their access every time. We play a unique role at our resorts by providing a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring our products\' integrity.
Job Specifications:
  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.36 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Part Time, Holiday Help
    • Night Ski shift to 4pm-7pm
    • Flexible as well as consistent scheduling is available, with the understanding that weekends & holidays are our busiest times
  • Skill Level: Entry Level
  • Other Specifics: We provide Keystone issued uniforms

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver premium guest service by providing information and assistance with a smile
  • Validating tickets - ensure our guests have their own valid product before loading our lifts
  • Work cooperatively with other teams to ensure lift lines are safely managed and lifts are loaded efficiently
  • Maintain and secure departmental equipment - scan devices, radios, etc
  • Escalate issues to leadership as they arise, from safety to products
  • Be an ambassador for My Epic; provide insightful advice and friendly My Epic support to guests in need, and be knowledgeable of where guests can go for additional support.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Willingness to work 15+ hours/week Part Time
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of inclement weather, standing and moving for entire shift on potentially slippery or uneven surfaces.

A Ticket Checker Resort Associate is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:
  • Mountain Activities
  • Retail Rental operations
  • Food and Beverage Support
  • Ticket sales or scanning
  • Lift Operations
  • Base Area Operations

Holiday Help Scheduling Requirements:

100 Service Hours per winter season required, which can be done in the following 3 different ways:
  • 100 hours worked over Christmas thru the New-Year Holiday
  • 100 hours worked as a 5-8 hour shift once a week on a Saturday
  • 100 hours worked over Thanksgiving, Christmas/New-Year, MLK weekend, President\xe2\x80\x99s week/weekend, Spring Break and/or Easter holiday

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $21.36. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
