We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Therapy Staff, including Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT), Speech Therapists (ST), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA), to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care across various settings such as inpatient units, skilled nursing facilities, home health, outpatient clinics, and acute care environments. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in physiotherapy, anatomy, and medical terminology, with a passion for improving patient outcomes through personalized therapy plans.
Duties
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs across diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and rehabilitation patients.
Conduct therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as trigger point therapy and other evidence-based interventions to promote mobility, function, and pain relief.
Assess patient progress and modify treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless transition of care from hospital to home or other settings.
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, safety measures, and health maintenance strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards in all clinical activities.
Experience
Prior experience working in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, home health environments, outpatient clinics, or acute care units is highly desirable.
Demonstrated expertise in physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and orthopedics.
Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and care planning processes.
Experience working with diverse patient populations such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or those requiring specialized care in orthopedics or geriatrics.
Skilled nursing facility experience or outpatient clinic experience is preferred.
Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a commitment to enhancing patient well-being through evidence-based therapeutic practices.
