We are seeking a positive and compassionate person to add to our growing office. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to our patients and assisting our chiropractic team by taking vitals and x-rays, as well as performing therapy; including the latest in technology; Softwave Therapy and Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression treatments. This position requires a willingness to learn therapy protocols, become licensed in basic x-rays positioning and have the heart of caring for and placing patients first.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the chiropractic team to create customized treatment
plans.
- Perform above listed procedures under the guidance of the
doctor, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety
measures.
- Educate patients on the benefits of the treatment; addressing any
concerns and providing guidance on post-treatment care and exercises.
- Greet and check in patients in a positive and welcoming manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including treatment
progress, session details, and any relevant observations.
- Assist in scheduling patient appointments, managing administrative tasks, office cleaning duties and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic.
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Perform basic patient assessments, such as taking vitals and recording medical history.
-Collaborate with the healthcare team to uphold the highest standards of patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
- Maintain current license for performing x-rays in a chiropractic office (12 hour online course.)
- Attend out of town training seminars up to a couple times a year. These are scheduled in advance to allow for planning.
- Cross train to perform front desk duties.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy. The ideal candidate would have a background in massage therapy, nursing assistant, dental assistant, physical therapy assistant, personal training, x-ray tech, med tech, EMT, nurse or similar positions. An understanding of the anatomical structures and physiology.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting and/or significant customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize
and connect with patients effectively.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities to manage patient
records and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate seamlessly with
the healthcare team.
- Appear daily refreshed, healthy, clean, and well maintained. We do expect our staff to dress in scrubs and present in a professional manner.
This position requires you to be on your feet during office hours Monday-
Thursday, 8:00-12:30 & 1:30-5:30 pm or until we are completely done with our shift, patients and duties.
Our office is a non-smoking facility and do not allow smoking on the property. We do not allow breaks for smoking.
Job Type: Full-time, but would consider multiple part time assistants
Salary: Based on experience. There is an opportunity for bonuses, paid time off and an insurance stipend. The position is hourly.
Expected hours: Approximately 34-36 hours weekly.
Schedule:
- Day shift
- No nights
- No weekends. We do travel for training multiple times a year and this is mandatory, but scheduled in advance ( up to years in advance.)
