Therapeutic Apheresis Rn
Job Description
The Blood Center is now interviewing for a full-time RN to perform Therapeutic Apheresis on patients of the hospitals that we serve. Although most procedures are scheduled during the weekday day-shift, this position will be part of an on-call rotation for evening and weekend coverage. Dialysis experience is a plus. A valid Louisiana driver s license and a good driving record are a must! The Blood Center pays a competitive starting wage and full benefits package including paid holidays, health, dental and life insurance on date of hire, paid time off after six months and an employer contributed retirement plan.

POSITION\'S PRIMARY PURPOSE Perform therapeutic apheresis procedures in client hospitals when orders are received.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Licenses: Valid driver s license and LA RN license
Education: Graduate of accredited nursing program
Experience: One year of IV infusion experience, one year of dialysis experience or one year of hospital nursing experience preferred
Specific Skills: Broad knowledge of medical technology, disease process and pharmaceuticals; excellent communication and organizational skills
