Warner Psychology Associates provides therapy and psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, adults, and athletes and is located in Greenbelt, MD. While our staff have different specialties, we are committed to providing high quality services to a diverse population of clients, through a culturally competent and responsive lens. All services are individually tailored to the client. We have a systems perspective, and build relationships and value input from those involved in our clients' lives. Our main referral base is parents, primary care physicians, educators, counselors and learning specialists at the K through 12 and collegiate levels, and college athletic departments. We are a fee-for-service practice.

Position Description

Warner Psychology Associates is hiring a Psychologist or Psychology Associate to administer psychological evaluations to children and adults. The greatest need is for performing ADHD and learning disability evaluations. We are looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of and experience in diagnosing a range of learning concerns (reading, writing and math disorders) and ADHD. The ability to provide relevant recommendations for use in educational settings is key.

Primary Job Responsibilities

? Perform ADHD and learning disability evaluations

? Provide a range of other psychological evaluations including admissions and TAG eligibility testing, psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and disability determination evaluations

? Provide psychological assessment to determine diagnostic clarity, and treatment planning

? Making differential diagnoses related to emotional/behavioral concerns

? Actively build relationships and collaborate with schools, physicians, athletic departments, and other involved parties

? Commitment to provision of culturally sensitive and appropriate services, and provision of services that honor diverse client identities

? Possible provision of services off-site at client schools or organizations

? Provide psychotherapy to a small number of child and/or adult clients, if desired.

? Experience working with athletes is a plus

Education and Experience

? Ph.D. or Psy. D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology preferred. Psychology Associates are also encouraged to apply.

? Maryland license preferred. Newly licensed psychologists encouraged to apply.

? PSYPACT membership a plus

? Experience in assessing and diagnosing a range of ADHD, learning disorders, and co-occurring conditions

? Experience testing children, college students, adults, and/or athletes
