POSITION SUMMARY

Setup, test, and enter test data and oversee all test setups. Test and evaluate all types of pumps and pump systems.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Read and interpret pump test standards. Read and interpret gauge readings. Adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements. Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools. Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications. Attach name plates and mark identifying information on parts. Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts and assembly sequences. Clean and lubricate parts and subassemblies, using grease. File, lap, and buff parts to fit, using hand and power tools. Operate small cranes to transport or position large parts. Perform any duties as required by supervisor. Comply with established safety policies and procedures. Wear required Personal Protective Equipment as directed. Use appropriate tools designed for their specific job tasks. Provide feedback related to hazard assessments and/or accident investigations. Act in accordance with Patterson's Company policies (ex. Harassment, Equal Employment Opportunity, Ethics, etc.). Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.

Education

: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required

Experience

: 1 plus year of experience in pump assembly/test.
