Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Test Engineer to support the development and verification of our next-generation PET/CT imaging systems. In this role, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and clinical performance. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in nuclear medicine, PET/SPECT/CT workflows, or software testing within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

System Verification and Validation

Perform verification and validation of PET-CT system workflows, including acquisition, reconstruction, calibration, and safety features. Conduct integration testing across hardware, firmware, and software components. Execute tests based on clinical scenarios, performance requirements, and regulatory expectations.

Test Planning & Documentation

Develop test strategy and test cases. Document test results with accuracy, including reproducible defect reports and clear supporting evidence. Support reviews of concepts, requirements, system designs, and risk assessments to ensure test coverage.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure testing activities comply with relevant medical device standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 60601, ISO 14971, FDA/CE requirements). Participate in defect triage, risk management activities, and design review discussions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with software developers, system engineers, medical physicists, and clinical specialists to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Provide early feedback during design and development phases to support a "shift-left" testing approach.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Nuclear Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in medical imaging--preferably PET, SPECT, or CT systems--or software testing of complex systems. Strong understanding of nuclear medicine concepts such as reconstruction algorithms, phantoms, QC workflows, and calibration. Demonstrated experience in system testing, integration testing, or verification/validation activities. Familiarity with Automation test tools. Ability to work within regulated environments with structured processes and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with PET-CT scanners, either in clinical operations or R&D environments. Familiarity with TOF, gating, scatter correction, attenuation correction, or iterative reconstruction. Experience using test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., ALM, TFS, Azure DevOps, Ranorex, etc.). Knowledge of system engineering practices, including requirements analysis and risk management.

Key Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-disciplinary teams.

Why Join Us?

You will play a critical role in shaping the quality and performance of state-of-the-art PET/CT scanners used worldwide. Your contributions will have a direct impact on diagnostic confidence and patient care.
