The Territory Manager, Hydraulics role will be responsible for managing a current book of customers and finding new business. This role is ideal for a proactive salesperson with prior industrial sales experience, ideally in the hydraulics/fluid power space. Ideal candidate for this role will have prior sales experience in the Fluid Power/Hydraulics space. This is a remote position and ideally will be based out of Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, or Missouri.

Role Responsibilities:

Acts as a primary contact for assigned Resale customer accounts, which includes traveling to customer locations to solidify relationships, determining customer needs, and learning application and business requirements

Meets revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per distributor and by identifying, developing and closing new sales opportunities

Establishes, cultivates and leverage customer relationships at a branch level and corporate level through phone and email communication, and through in-person customer meetings.

Leads sales presentations, negotiations, business and product proposals, and other communications designed to drive sales

Manages channel conflict through regular communication with distribution partners and territory managers to determine the best path to market to gain market share

Develops and utilizes sound technical understanding of company products, technologies and capabilities to aid in the selling process

TRAVEL: Approximately 50%

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of industrial sales experience, preferably within the fluid power industry

High School diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to use good public relations skills including having a professional impact and being able to present to groups or individuals in a persuasive manner

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree

Strong negotiating skills required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Consistent achievement of sales goals and forecasts
