Position Description:

The individual selected for this position will teach Economics and Honors Economics.

Special Requirements:

(Certification, training, specialty skills or previous experience)



1. Valid Oregon teaching license, with a high school social studies endorsement required.


2. Experience teaching AP U.S. History preferred. Regardless of experience, attendance at UP U.S. History conference in August is required (district paid).


3. Ability to work collaboratively with others.


4. Proven ability to work well with all students, high energy, and organized.


5. Knowledge and skilled with technology.


6. Willingness to work with students outside of school hours - advising clubs, attending activities, coaching athletics.



This TEMPORARY position is 1.0 FTE


Dates: 12/1/2025 - 6/12/2026 (124 days)
