The Recovery Incentives Project is a collaboration between LifeMoves, Stanford Housing Equity Project (SHEP), and outpatient recovery service provider Caminar. The goal of the project is to increase participation and retention in recovery services among LifeMoves' single adult clients with substance use disorder, with the larger aim of improving housing outcomes for these clients long term. The project employs a contingency management treatment approach, rewarding clients with financial incentives that increase over time based on their consistent engagement with their treatment plan.
The Recovery Incentives Project is currently active at 4 LifeMoves sites with the potential to grow. The project manager is responsible for supporting our partner Caminar (who is on site providing recovery services) with any resources they need to serve clients, reviewing the weekly participation and incentive distribution data for quality assurance, working with site Program Directors to identify opportunities maximize participation, distributing gift cards (incentives) to sites on an as needed basis, and any other tasks related to project execution or expansion.
