Position Description:
The Temporary Program Manager IV in the School of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, Liver Research will perform the following duties:Monitor trends in clinical nutrition practice.
Plan and develop curriculum with senior faculty.
Support development and delivery of nutrition lectures for fellows.
Coordinate lecture topics and content with all guest faculty to address emerging nutrition topics and education gaps.
Facilitate fellow peer-reviewed paper publication.
Identify pivotal research papers on clinical nutrition and facilitate discussion via Journal Club.
Coordinate faculty discussion and alignment on international Champions of Nutrition speaker program at the annual ASPEN Nutrition Science and Practice Conference.
Fellow Recruitment Outreach: Establish ACGME accredited program director identification for recruitment purposes and create recruitment letter with senior faculty to share with Nestle Health Science for mass email distribution to program directors.
Coordinate NBPNS letters of recommendation for all graduated fellows.
Attend and help coordinate all faculty meetings: work with other faculty and Nestle representatives to develop meeting agendas.
Attend and help coordinate all fellowship functions at ASPEN.
Attend and help coordinate fellowship rotations.
Assist in selection of fellowship candidates.
Serve as faculty liaison with Nestle Health Science.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
