Temporary Health Assistant: Deadline to Apply: Thursday, December 18, 2025 by 4:00pm

Work Status: Full-Time (40 hrs.) M-F

OACAC Head Start is seeking a compassionate, experienced Health Assistant to help our Head Start team complete required health screenings for children (hearing, vision, hemoglobin, blood pressure, height/weight). This role involves collaboration with families, staff, and community health providers to promote optimal health outcomes.

OACAC is a mission-driven community action agency dedicated to supporting families and empowering children through comprehensive early childhood services. Our Head Start program provides high-quality education, health, and family support services to children ages birth - 5 and their families, preparing them for success in school and life.

Salary Range $16.00 - $22.00

Requirements:

Experience in pediatric or community/public health care, CAN/MA preferred. Knowledge of early childhood development, family dynamics, and health regulations. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
