About the Practice:

We are a

startup dental practice

looking to get our front desk team fully trained on insurance billing and Open Dental software. This is a unique opportunity to help shape our administrative workflow from the ground up.

We are seeking a

temporary Dental Insurance Billing Trainer

with strong expertise in

Open Dental

to train our front desk staff on all aspects of insurance billing. You will guide our team in entering insurance information, setting up UCR and other fee schedules, submitting claims, and handling follow-ups.

This role is ideal for someone with dental billing experience who wants to earn extra income on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on training to front desk staff on

Open Dental

software. Teach staff to input

UCR (Usual, Customary, and Reasonable) fees

, PPO insurance fees, and umbrella fee schedules. Demonstrate accurate

claims submission

and insurance follow-up procedures. Answer staff questions and ensure confidence in billing and insurance workflows.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in

dental insurance billing

. Strong knowledge of

Open Dental software

. Experience

training or mentoring

administrative/front desk staff. Detail-oriented, patient, and able to explain complex insurance concepts clearly. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
