Job Overview

The Temp Class C Machine Operator plays a key role in supporting the repair, cleaning, and preparation of pump housings and components. This position involves hands-on mechanical work using a variety of tools--including grinders, impact wrenches, and cleaning equipment--to ensure all parts are properly serviced and prepared for customer return, storage, or shipment. The role also requires maintaining an organized workspace, following safety procedures, and assisting with additional tasks as directed. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a mechanical shop environment.

Responsibilities

Disassemble, clean, and prepare pump housings and components using a variety of hand tools--including frequent and safe operation of grinders--along with impact wrenches, pry bars, Scotch-Brite, sandpaper, parts washers, and other tools as instructed. Maintain proper organization by keeping all components in designated containers for return to the customer. Package products appropriately for storage and/or shipment. Perform general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe work area. Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Maintain a positive attitude that supports strong safety practices, cleanliness standards, and a collaborative team environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required. Ability to use measuring equipment accurately and according to instructions. Ability to learn, retain, and apply training effectively.
Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
