Job Summary:



Ramapo College seeks a Temporary Academic Scheduler to support the coordination and management of academic and/or administrative scheduling needs. The Scheduler will work closely with faculty, staff, and administrators to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient scheduling of classes, events, and related resources. This temporary position is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:



Collect, review, and verify schedule submissions from all academic units for accuracy and compliance with College standards. Accurately build academic schedules for Fall 2026 in Banner Clearly communicate with Unit Secretaries and Deans to resolve scheduling conflicts Monitor and adjust schedule based on requests made by the Schools Work with the Associate and Assistant Registrar to assign classrooms and adjust capacities where needed Other duties to support the Registrar's office, as assigned

Experience Requirements:



1-year related experience in academic scheduling.

Qualifications

:Organizational skills: Ability to manage complex schedules and prioritize tasks effectively. Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with faculty and staff. Technical proficiency: Experience with student information systems (preferably Banner) and other relevant technologies. Experience using 25Live or similar event scheduling and space management software to coordinate, reserve, and manage campus facilities. Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and other issues. Attention to detail: Accuracy in data entry and schedule management is crucial.
