Job Description

Comfort Keepers is a leading provider of in-home caregiving, and we're seeking a bright, professional, and enthusiastic Temporary Staffing Coordinator/Recruiter. The anticipated duration of this job is 90 - 120 days.

This position is specifically responsible for sourcing, interviewing, hiring, training, and onboarding caregivers who will provide in-home care to seniors throughout the Sacramento area. The job is located in Citrus Heights.

The position has 6 main responsibilities:

Initiate the hiring process for caregivers including processing applications, background screening, testing, interviewing, and reference validation. Makes hiring decisions for caregivers. Orient and train caregivers and maintain current caregiver files in accordance with state licensing policies and procedures. Record employee information such as personnel data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews, evaluations, and termination date and reason. Update employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses. Prepare and files report of accidents and injuries. Assist Corporate Recruiter in developing systems for recruiting new caregivers to bring in a continuous stream of applicants for employment.

Position Physical Demands:

Walking, sitting, and standing with lifting limited to files and records typically not expected to exceed 5 pounds in weight. Extended time at a computer work screen and on the telephone.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training. Experience in health care or other service industry preferred. Requires proficiency in word processing and computer skills (Office, Excel). The successful candidate will become proficient in the company's scheduling system, ClearCare). Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills as well as positive professional, business image.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
