As a Teller with M&T bank, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be an important member of our branch team as we build relationships with customers, process their transactions, and help them understand options available to them.

Your Typical Day:
- Welcome all bank visitors with a warm and friendly smile
- Listen to customers and understand their needs
- Educate customers on products and services available to them
- Accurately and efficiently process teller transactions
- Support operational needs such as cash ordering, vault, ATM, wire transfer, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and compliance-related tasks
- Support a diverse environment that supports the M&T Bank brand
- Complete other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 6 months customer service experience, including either cash handling or data entry experience
- Professional communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Retail customer services skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Technology savvy
- Bilingual ability is not required but is a strong plus depending on location
- Lifting objects up to 30lbs
