Job Overview


We are seeking a detail oriented, customer-focused Teller to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, the Teller plays a key role in providing excellent customer service, handling financial transactions accurately, and supporting the daily operations of the office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, an eye for detail, passion for helping others, and the ability to complete tasks effectively.

Responsibilities



Greet customers warmly and assist them with their banking needs. Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, or change orders with accuracy. Balance cash drawer daily and ensure accuracy in transactions. Gather and verify required documentation according to bank regulations and procedures. Answer inquiries regarding accounts, products, and services. Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and math calculations as necessary. Follow all security and compliance procedures to protect customer and bank information. Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Provide customer additional information and resources of other bank products or services. Handle outbound calling to follow up on customer issues and provide additional information as needed. Maintain accurate records of transactions, debits, credits, and customer information and accounts using financial software. Identify potential fraud through diligent monitoring of transactions and customer interactions. Foster strong relationships with customers through effective relationship management practices. Perform data entry tasks to ensure customer information is up-to-date and accurate. Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and improve overall customer satisfaction. Utilize computer applications to manage documentation effectively. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while communicating with customers and peers.

Requirements



Prior experience in cash handling or customer service preferred. Solid math and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Skill to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills. Ability to analyze customer or company needs and provide appropriate solutions. Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for data entry tasks. A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
