Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teller to join our team. As teller, you will consistently perform transactions for members in an efficient, accurate and timely manner, demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of credit union procedures, products and services and work as part of the team to accomplish goals of the department and credit union. This position requires strong cash management skills, retail math proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Receiving and processing member financial transaction, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sell money orders, transfer amounts from member accounts as directed. Cross sells credit union services Balances cash drawer and daily transactions. Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Proven experience in a banking or retail environment, preferably in a teller role. Strong knowledge of retail math and cash management principles. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with members. Proficient in relationship management to foster long-term member loyalty. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to pass background checks as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour
