Summary

Deliver paying and receiving services to bank customers under close supervision and provide quality customer service. Adhere to set teller standards and cashing limits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



80%-Pay and receive cash, deposits, keep records of money, prepare general ledger entries, and accept loan payments. Responsible for maintaining control and security of assigned cash drawer, daily balancing, and teller station by adhering to internal bank audit requirements. Meet set balancing standards. Basic knowledge of issuing, accepting, and maintaining records of negotiable instruments such as bank drafts, cashier's checks, and bonds, and travel gift cards.





10%-Basic knowledge of additional teller duties within the department including but not limited to completing monthly certifications, CTR's and account analysis. Responsible for opening and closing vaults with Teller II or supervisor.



10%-Utilize brochures and product information to provide customer service and cross-sell bank services. Attend all teller and staff meetings.
