Position Qualifications:

- 1+ years of demonstrated Directional Drilling Locator experience.

- Strong knowledge of underground utilities

- Understanding of client and company work specifications.

- Self-motivated, safety, quality and production minded.

- Ability to work in all types of weather.

Responsibilities:

- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment for horizontal drilling operations.
- Conduct horizontal drilling activities in accordance with industry standards and regulations, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful completion of drilling projects in the telecommunications sector.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during drilling operations, taking appropriate actions to resolve them promptly.
- Adhere to best practices for oil & gas drilling, while also considering environmental impact and sustainability.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and handling of equipment and materials.

:

Underground Directional Drill Locator will work with a crew assigned to complete the installation of underground power conduit/cable.

- Operate equipment to execute precise locates.

- Create pre-bore profiles and guide horizontal directional driller and equipment to follow specified bore path.

- Ensure capability and execution of the locate for the drill head from point A to point B without hitting any utilities at the correct depth.

- Follows specifications for the job and company policies

- Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

- Complies with safety procedures while driving and at job site.

- Strive for optimal production while working safely and performing quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
