Job Description
River Arts seeks camp assistants who will work alongside instructors to help with our full lineup of summer camps. This opportunity will help grow a variety of skills working for a nonprofit organization centered on community and art education. Assistants will gain real-world experience while enriching and mentoring the lives of young campers. Assistant duties in this program include but are not limited to the following:
- Assisting with the daily management of youth summer camps. Provide a healthy and inclusive River Arts camp environment through positive interaction with youth and instructional support in the classroom.
- Assisting with classroom clean up, lunchtime, and recreational time with campers
- Photographing camp moments
- Teens willing to volunteer for two camps are eligible to attend one camp for free!
- Letter of Interest, including preferred camp & relevant
