Position Overview:
The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for:
Providing basic care and ensuring the safety and security of patients
Making trained observations and reporting to the mental health team or designated staff members
Attending and participating in group therapy sessions
Admitting, transferring, and discharging patients as assigned
Performing basic triage duties as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree preferred
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant healthcare or behavioral health experience preferred
Skills:
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
Strong observational skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
