Position Summary:




We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. The technician will work closely with the service team to provide high-quality automotive repair services in a timely and efficient manner.


Key Responsibilities:



Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs. Accurately document work performed, parts used, and labor hours on repair orders. Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding findings, repair options, and timelines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer service guidelines. Stay updated with new automotive technology and diagnostic techniques.

Requirements:



High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. ASE Certification(s) highly desirable. Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician (more or less depending on role level). Proficient with diagnostic tools and automotive repair software. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Working Conditions:



Full-time position; Monday-Saturday availability may be required. May require standing, bending, and lifting heavy equipment or parts for extended periods. Work performed in a garage environment with exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and automotive chemicals.
