Overview:

The Diehl Aerospace Electronics Repair Technician is responsible for the basic electronic maintenance, test, modifications, and repair for Diehl Aerospace equipment. Provide excellent customer service to airline customers by ensuring repairs are performed to our company standards and (FAA) (Federal Aviation Association) Regulations.

Principal Responsibilities:

Adhere to company own maintenance documentation and FAA regulations Adjust or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using specialized hand tools or soldering equipment Adhere to time constraints for customer equipment Complete and close out work order reports and all checklists forms as required in accordance with the company documentation and FAA regulations and guidelines. Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years' experience as an electronics technician or 2 years college level degree in electronics related field Eligibility to work in a clean ESD shop environment Effective interpersonal and communication skills Solder proficiency, to include SMT/through-hole and terminals of all types, IPC/equivalent training preferred Ability to interpret documents such as equipment schematics, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Ability to connect, test equipment and use a computer Ability to operate standard test equipment i.e. Oscilloscope, signal generator and DMM Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronics circuits.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
