To obtain and process graphic charts representing electrical activity of the heart. Scans Holter recordings and sets up and runs patients on stress tests. Assists the physician in evaluating cardiac electrical activity. Work requires the knowledge and skills to provide direct patient care appropriate to full spectrum of patient population of specialty. High School Graduate or equivalent required. Must be able to type 25 wpm of technical medical language from cassette tapes. Basic EKG certificate or on the job training.
