Position: Test Lead with Technical Writing Experience (Life Science Domain)

Summary:

We are seeking a Test Lead with strong Technical Writing skills and experience working in a regulated Life Sciences environment. The ideal candidate will lead testing activities (both manual and automated), collaborate with technical SMEs and project teams, and create clear, structured documentation to support validation, testing, and compliance requirements. This is a strictly onsite role in Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities:

Technical Writing & Documentation:

Create high-quality documentation by gathering information from SMEs and project teams.

Develop user guides, SOPs, technical specifications, data flow documents, validation protocols, and test documentation.

Ensure all documentation complies with life sciences regulatory standards (GxP, FDA, etc.).

Maintain version control and adhere to documentation governance guidelines.

Test Leadership:

Lead and manage the full testing lifecycle in a regulated environment.

Oversee manual and automated testing efforts.

Develop and review test plans, test scripts, test cases, and traceability matrices.

Coordinate testing activities across cross-functional teams.

Report on testing progress, defects, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Ensure testing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with validation requirements.

Collaboration & Compliance:

Work closely with SMEs, developers, QA, business analysts, and project managers.

Support audits, validation reviews, and document readiness checks.

Ensure adherence to GxP and other regulatory frameworks

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
