is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled

Technical Writer

to join our Marketing team. This role bridges various departments and consumer-facing communication, ensuring complex technical data is translated into clear, accurate, and accessible materials. The Technical Writer will be responsible for developing and maintaining product manuals, assembly instructions, specification sheets, and other technical collateral. Success in this role requires proactive collaboration across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support to ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and aligned with product releases, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate data into clear, user-friendly documents such as manuals, installation instructions, quick-start guides, safety information, and technical specification sheets.

Proactively identify documentation gaps and improvement opportunities based on feedback from Engineering, Sales, Product, and Customer Support. Ensure all documentation is updated in alignment with new product releases, design changes, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Engineering to capture accurate product details and functionality, while partnering with Marketing to ensure alignment with brand standards and positioning. Maintain centralized archives and document control processes for consistency, accuracy, and version management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in a manufacturing, product, or engineering-driven environment. Proven ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts for consumer-facing audiences. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and publishing tools; familiarity with CAD drawings or engineering diagrams a plus. Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and formatting consistency. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working cross-functionally and holding stakeholders accountable to ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation.
