Technical Support Specialist

to join our team in Miami.
This role focuses on supporting customers and integrators, preparing and configuring LED screens before shipment, and assisting with troubleshooting related to hardware, software, and LED control systems.

We are looking for someone with strong technical skills and clear communication abilities. Experience with NovaStar or similar LED control systems is a plus, but not required--training will be provided.

Duties

Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and ticketing tools, including diagnostics, configuration, and troubleshooting. Configure and prepare LED displays in the warehouse: module testing, controller setup, initial configuration, and quality checks. Support LED control software and hardware (NovaStar processors, video processors, sending/receiving cards). Assist with basic network configurations for LED screens: LAN setup, IP addressing, and device connectivity. Document incidents, solutions, and technical processes using ticketing platforms. Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure each order meets the technical requirements of the project. Provide on-site support for installations or system setup when needed. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients of varying technical backgrounds.

Experience

Proven experience in technical support, IT help desk, or hardware/software support roles. Good understanding of networking basics (LAN, IP configuration, routers). Hands-on experience with hardware, electronics, computers, or audiovisual systems. Experience with LED displays or NovaStar systems is a plus, but not required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Solid verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
