We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Mechanical-Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our clients; ensuring their mechanical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. You will act as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues with our various equipment lines, while maintaining a superior level of customer service.
Duties
Phone support for incoming technical calls for our Powerboss, Scrubmaster, Citymaster and robot product lines, troubleshoot equipment problems with field technicians.
Will also cross-train on our Minuteman product line
Warranty Administration; claim evaluation, modification
Communication of warranty questions on field units (coverage and eligibility)
Evaluation of warranty parts when called in for inspection
Communication and recording of negative trends, zero hour or serial issues
Communication to Production Manager of quality issues
Recording data in SAP for zero hour and serial issues
Bi-monthly meeting with production / sales
Work with Quality Engineers on known and potential mechanical concerns
Open and willingness to learn and grow with our company
Technical support training seminars for Minuteman equipment
2 seminars annually
Skills
Electrical diagnosis
STRONG Mechanical and technical aptitude
Hydraulic, Internal Combustion systems knowledge
Understand engineering blueprints
Self-Starter, Organized, Excellent communication skills, Experience in the Commercial Cleaning industry, Mobile or in-house assembly repair
Background in inventory and warranty systems
